All day long it had been hot and humid. Suddenly, it got overcast and windy, but still hot. It was very strange. And then......it was still. Hot, dark and still. Soon after, thunder and lightening began. The kids watched the lightening show with awe and excitement, and the the pelting rain began. As the winds started up we went back into the house, only to begin a fun candle lighting frenzy moments later when the power went out. The perfect ending to a memorable day.
