Nativity Festival 2008

This is all eleven of us, providing 30 minutes of music at the Community Nativity Festival. It was a joy and a very positive experience for the family. Lots of hard work but it paid off.

The three youngest sang a trio that was so cute! Little heart breakers!
This was our quartet that sang a couple of selections seperately. So fun to have kids that can sing bass, tenor and soprano with their alto mother. I can't tell you what a treat that is! And we have the tell-tale "family blend", which is nice.

Anthony Loves Basketball

Anthony is 13 years old and 6 feet tall. He's really loving his year in basketball and the family support.

Anthony had a great game and loved all the family fans. It was very fun cheering him on to victory.

Anthony Goes Coast to Coast

As we kick off the holiday season, I just want to wish every one a happy Fall, and to remember to focus on the good and the beautiful and try to keep things as simple as possible. I know it's easy to say, but I'm REALLY going to try it this time---accomplish less, buy less and enjoy my family and friends more...revel in the sweetness of relationships and blessings, and not get distracted by the demands of life and commercialism.

"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present." (Kung Fu Panda)

Life is short...feel the love today! Blessings and joy....

Saturday morning pancakes with Grandma and Grandpa after a cousin "sleep over"!

Grandma and Grandpa Seable are experts at feeding the masses...and they even seem to enjoy it! At least they're good at making everyone feel that way! :)
Well, Grandpa. It looks as if a few leaves fell on our front lawn last night!

Seable and Savage cousins are here to help!
Don't worry, Mom. We're football players. We can tackle this job!

The beginning of a big job...

Parker likes to dance in the leaves when Jeff blows off the walkway. Grandpa took pictures too.

Charlie loves nature and was thrilled with this big leaf.

Henry and Alex were carefree until captured and assigned rakes, which they used...for a minute!

Lot's of frollicking in the leaves on a beautiful, Fall day....

Cousin Henry ready to "do battle"!

A quick way to transport leaves to compost pile...the "tarp method".

So wonderful to have grandparents close by!
