We had planned on going to California for New Years, but stayed home due to a couple fevers. Despite that, we really had a lot of fun and it was very enjoyable. We went to a park and drove the remote control boat on the pond, ate at a restaurant (a rare event) and returned home for fun & games (Sardines is a family favorite at New Years). We watched movies on a big screen projector, ate a lot of "special " food (ie: shrimp, artichoke dip, carmel apples, etc.) set goals, lit off fireworks and did the traditional music, countdown, and kisses. We enjoyed sleeping in very late the next morning, as well, then going on a long walk in the park where we took the pictures on the bridge. Happy 2008 to all our friends and family!
