It was very fun gathering each day for dinner at the Canon Center and discussing classes we had attended. I am so grateful for this priceless program offered at BYU and thrilled that it has also become a family reunion where we can see so many of our favorite people. It's the BEST!!!

We finished an awesome week with Pride and Prejudice, the musical.

We partied at the Reeses our last night. A great ending to an awesome week.

School Days....

Julie, Charlie and Alex are going to school for a little while I get my homeschool together for this next year. This was their first day, which was very exciting, but alas, the novelty has already worn off. :) When Charlie got home, he showed me the gingerbread man he had made in Kindergarten and then they had their snack.

Harvesting the Bounty!

The Lawrences were so kind as to let us pick their grapes and some strawberries this year. We have been gathering and canning fruit from all over. We canned pears, grape juice and jelly, plum juice and jelly, tomatoes, zuccinni, apples and blackberry jam. Yum!

I made grape jelly for the first time this year and it was so easy, but so delicious. I'm never buying it again!

Our newest addition to the family...Cosmo the kitty! (Named after BYU's mascot.)

This is our family's first cat. And I must say I love it! (Much easier than dogs, although I have always preferred dogs.) This little kitty is litter trained and patiently lets the kids carry it around and snuggle with it. It's very fun to watch it play and bat it's ball around. Jefferson, a huge BYU fan, thought of the name Cosmo. We have our own little cougar!
