The worst part was when they took him away from me, screaming, for the surgery. I will insist on a different scenario if I am ever in this situation again. When he came to, after surgery, he was inconsolable for several minutes. Thank goodness children are resilient. With a lot of Mommy and TLC, he was much better before too long.

He was pretty drugged up for some time. It was really sad to see him this way.
